This local Historic Building was built in 1842. Utilized as a Baptist church for 154 yrs and was de-consecrated in 1996. After its closure, it was mostly used for storage for 20 yrs. We acquired the building in 2016 and after 3 yrs of renovation, it was reborn as an incredible 4 season short-term rental cottage. Backing unto the Jones’s brook and bordering a very old cemetery. It is sure to leave you relaxed and amazed at the serenity of this special place.

Hello and welcome!
We are both Acadians, born and raised in New Brunswick. Danny is retired, and Jo-Anne works as an administrative assistant. In our spare time, we enjoy repurposing antique furniture to give it a new life. We enjoy meeting new people from all over the world. We have had the opportunity to travel to many regions, such as the Middle East, the Caribbean and Europe – our favourite place is Turkey. We like a wide variety of music, including classic rock, country and Acadian music. We love snowshoeing and hiking. We also enjoy reading about history and travel destinations, or simply sitting to watch a good old classic, comedy or documentary.
We look forward to meeting you, and thank you for choosing Old Church Cottages
